How Alan Healed From Cancer

Alan and Phyllis in June 2012 when Alan healed from cancer.

This is an actual transcript of a presentation Alan and I gave to 130 people at our local Center for Spiritual Living on June 8, 2012. Included are the details about how Alan healed from laryngeal cancer in four months. It was so quiet in the room, you could hear a pin drop as every person listened to the details of Alan’s healing. This was a most joyous occasion. Following our presentation, we had an elaborate potluck dinner.

As I re-read this presentation that we gave on June 2012, it’s astonishing to notice that we made no mention of the Alzheimer’s even though Alan had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s six weeks before he was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer.

I remember after Alan was told by the surgeon on April 10, 2012 that he could find no cancer, I was thinking that it was possible that Alan was getting another lease on life.

There is discontinuous change in the physical universe and also in our lives. For example, water imperceptibly gets colder and colder, and then all of a sudden it turns to ice. About one month after we gave our presentation about Alan healing from cancer, there was a discontinuous change in Alan’s brain. It was as if one day it became apparent to both of us that the Alzheimer’s was raising its ugly head quickly. We both noticed this and cried together for the next week. We knew there was no way out of Alzheimer’s as there had been with the cancer.

From the time Alan was diagnosed with both laryngeal cancer and Alzheimer’s, we both cried often. Something would trigger one of us, and soon we’d both be crying. Little words were exchanged. We would just embrace and hold onto each other and let our tears fall. We both knew that we were continuing to let go of our relationship and life as we had known it.

Phyllis:

In Feb. of 2012, while we were eating dinner one night, I asked Alan, “So when are you going to be well? He hesitated and said “March”.

I said, “March? No, that’s so soon. I think it’s June; in fact, June 8th. We can celebrate then and have a party at CSL on June 8th” Alan, of course, was right. His voice came back mid-March, and he began to feel stronger, with more energy. I scheduled CSL for June 8th for the Celebration. And so it is, and here we are!

Thank you for coming to witness our story about how Alan healed from cancer, and how the community and I were his caregivers. Sharing our story is one of the ways we can say “Thank You.” Please save your questions and comments for the end of our presentation.

You’ll notice tonight that I speak more than Alan. And that’s because speaking a lot requires a lot of energy. Alan was sick for a long time, and it takes time to get energy back.

Alan:

I was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer mid-December, 2011.

Soon after I learned that I had cancer, I created in my mind very clear intentions for my healing.- Alan

Soon after I learned that I had cancer, I created in my mind very clear intentions for my healing. I visualized these intentions. We formed a prayer circle to help me manifest these intentions. As a result of this prayer circle and my clear intentions and visualizations, all the necessary people and events continued to come into my life to insure my well-being and freedom from cancer. On April 10th of 2012, I was told the cancer was gone.

We are sharing our understanding of the chronology of events. Different people here will identify with different parts of the story. The story brings us up to the current date.

We are mentioning very few names. And the reason is because this is not about individuals. This this is about synergy and a Community Healing that took place. We don’t even know how many people were involved. We just know it was a lot of people. Because so many came forward and helped, no one person had to do too much. And you know in your own heart how you were involved.
